The ladies travelled over to Chiswick boathouse in search for their second win of the season. Prior to the game, Borough were determined to get the win but unfortunately couldn’t hang on to the lead.
With Graham away and no one to do the line, Darren stepped in to fill Graham's space (he was just as bad).
Borough immediately dominated the possession of the ball from the start of the match and had a few attacks on goal but the Laces' defence stayed strong.
After some amazing saves from Scotty in goal and a few scrappy attempts Borough were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty box. Tara Dyerson stepped up and slotted the ball in the bottom corner to make it 1-0 to Borough.
Half-time score 1-0.
After a very positive and encouraging half-time chat, Borough headed back onto the field with confidence.
Shortly after a few more attempts on goal from Wandsworth, Laces had managed to equalise which gave them a huge confidence boost.
With the Wandsworth players tiring and the Laces growing in confidence, they were soon ahead by two goals to one, shortly followed by another and Laura Mott, who had an exceptional game, having to come off due to a back injury.
However, the Wandsworth Ladies still battled on and had a few more attempts on goal themselves.
After an amazing performance from Wandsworth and an undeserved scoreline, the game finished off 4-1 to South London Laces.
