A local derby against Balham who play in Wandsworth, with Chairman Andy looking the part in his Adidas trackie as the first half lino and second half manager.

In the first half, Boro had so many chances and they couldn't believe it was still 0-0 after 20 minutes. Then on 26 minutes, Boro got a corner. A great delivery from Tara was headed in by Scott - 1-0.

But two minutes later Balham scored to make it 1-1.

Scott kicked the ball from the defence for Roxy to run onto and make it 2-1. Then 3 minutes later Nichola got a goal to go ahead 3 - 1.

After a team talk from Andy & Graham at half-time, the Boro Ladies went to work. A few minutes later Laura got a goal, 4 - 1. The Ladies were buzzing and playing full of confidence. Tara nearly got the goal of the season as she twisted and turned past a Balham player in the style of George Best. Just an inch wide of the post though.

Roxy made it 5 - 1 and Balham heads started to drop. Francine finished the game with a great goal. With Boro winning 6-1 away the smiles are back on the faces after a terrible start of the season. The first three points and off the bottom of the league.
