Swedish striker Olsson snatched an 85th-minute equaliser as a below-par Boro shared the spoils in a match to forget against Woking.

Boro headed into this game as strong favourites but, in truth, Woking more than held their own, who grabbed the lead three times and looked headed for their first win of the season when leading 3-2 with six minutes left.

But Boro, as has been their hallmark over the past couple of months, never gave up and Olsson linked up with Buck to steal a point and preserve the 6s’ incredible two-match unbeaten streak in the league.
After a drab first half, the away team silenced the home support with a goal just three minutes after the restart when a half-cleared ball landed at the feet of a Woking striker, whose low finish gave Cibardo no chance.

Sparked into life, Boro pressed forward and were rewarded with an equaliser on 60 minutes when the referee awarded a penalty for a clear handball on the line. Atoning for his miss at John Fisher earlier in the season, Mendes made no mistake from the spot.

Woking were back in front just minutes later thanks to some slack defending and Boro had it all to do again, and levelled the score for a second time when Black latched onto a Mendes corner and produced a quality finish.

As the clock ticked down, both teams went looking for the winner, creating plenty of chances but unable to find the killer touch until Woking powered in a header from a corner of their own.

Poor as the overall performance might have been, Boro must be given credit for never letting their heads drop and when Buck picked up a loose ball in the dying minutes, he put in a high cross for Olsson who fired his shot into the net.

A lucky escape in the end for Boro, who must still see this as two points dropped.
