CRUCIAL POINTS DROPPED IN PROMOTION FIGHT

The biggest game of the season and a real six-pointer. Beat Reigate and stay 2nd, lose and drop to at least 3rd. Promotion would be much harder if Borough lost.

With the weather changing as heavy rain was forecast, we were very surprised the game was going ahead! Groundsmen did the job and the pitches were in a great state.

Wands started the better off the two sides with a few chances, the best of which fell to Watkins who passed it into Kershaw'ss face who then played a one-two with himself! With tears in his eyes, he poked a scruffy goal away.

Then the wind started to play into the oppo's hands and thunderbolt just beat Vinny in goal. 1-1 and I can't remember the second Reigate goal, but I guess it was a sh*t one. Half time 2-1.

Nothing happened in the second half, no wind, no shots, Frosty ate pizza (lots) Marek fell asleep again, must have been all the "running" he did.

On to the next game against cup finalists Guilford.
