AFC: 8 South / Report by Nathan Mills

On a wet and cold Saturday, a group of lads from the Wands made the long, long journey to the back of Woking against a team sitting 2nd bottom of the league.

Mills, full of cold, but as all club legends do you turn up and play for the team.

First half, not much from the Wands apart from Marek thinking he played for Woking and stood on the ball on the Woking goal line for what he must have thought was 30 mins. Woking were the better team going into half time and being 1-0 up.

Half time team talk was reminiscent of https://youtu.be/7SN9le_U5SI (a proper boll*cking from Calum).

The second half saw the Wands come into the game, having a lot of attacks as the boll*cking started to pay off.

Duffy with a defence-splitting pass put Mills through on goal and with the greatest finish the 6th team has ever seen he smashed it into the bottom left without the keeper moving! Tails were up and Wandsworth pushed for the second and five mins later pocket rocket Nuno Mendes smashed in the winner. The crowd (John Sweeney) went wild. All in all, it was a massive battle against a team that should not be second bottom, but we came out worthy winners.

Ref was tops.
Oppo were good.
Mills is out of his drought.
Marek barn door.
We all got drunk in Woking.
