CHRISTMAS PARTY SEASON

We lost 2-1 to Tenisionians on Saturday.

Deserved a draw but didn’t get one. Everyone played well so won’t be listing all 13 players who played.

Something much more fun happened to me this week though...

On Wednesday evening myself and 3 pals from work decided to venture out for a leisurely Christmas pint. Whilst on our travels we went to a well-known bar chain near Bank station. Searching for the toilet, a pal stumbled across an unmanned table full of name badges belonging to the company First Derivatives who are a large multi-national business with offices all over the world. Needless to say, all 4 of us put on a badge and went downstairs.

It turns out First Derivatives are a fantastic company to work for and they treat their staff incredibly well during the festive period. They put an unlimited tab behind the bar, make sure everyone is given a superb selection of canapes, play great music and all in all make sure everyone has a great time.

I got home at 3am and I’m currently sat with the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced, superb timing for my own Christmas party this evening…

I found “Conor Moran” on Linked In and thanked him for the time I had, such a shame he works in New York.
