RED CARD AND A SIN BIN - BUT NO GOALS

Looked to make it a three game-winning run at home to Tenisonians after our opening day defeat. Things were made tougher after a bit of a mad scramble to get a team together all week.

Was a very tight first half with the Boro slightly edging things. Best chance actually fell to the oppo right at the end of the half after a bullet header from a corner was only kept out thanks to a brilliant goal-line headed clearance from the returning Danny Glover who made up for his two-year absence in that one moment.

Following that scare it felt the game was there for the taking in the second half. We had all the chances but a couple of tame finishes and a couple of wonder saves from the little tubby keeper kept us at bay. They barely had a sniff and when they did every shot they had was outside the box and each almost hit the corner flag.

Didn't manage to get the winner. Lost the plot a bit in the last 10 with a red card and sin bin both for arguing with the ref. Had the better chances so disappointing but given we ended the game with nine men not too gutted!

A 0-0 thriller!
