REF RUINS 5s' CUP RUN

1-0 up with 5 minutes. The 5s had one foot in the next round in the cup and were cruising.

Cooper shields a ball out for a goal kick and is then pushed in the back which somehow leads to the ball ricocheting back into play and then stuck into an empty net. The worst referee ever witnessed failed to spot the goal kick or the foul. The 5s were shell shocked.

South Bank then get a free kick on the half way line. The defence takes up their line just outside the box leaving a striker in the box at least 10 yards behind. He doesn’t even make an effort to get back onside, receives the ball and sticks in the net. The worst referee strikes again.

All 11 of us then go up for a corner to try and get the equaliser we deserved. Unfortunately they countered and stuck the ball into an open net.

1-0 up with 5 mins to go and it ended 3-1. The 5s will continue to focus on the league and maintain their unbeaten start!
