Too many goals to do justice in a standard length match Report but Boro Vets recorded possibly their biggest victory as they racked up an impressive tally.
Plumtree - GK - little to do except collect overhit opposition passes & had no chance with the Westend goal.
Murphy - RB - two assists for the opening goals plus a penalty slotted home with aplomb. Came back in in the second half on the right hand side of midfield.
Sweeney - CB - typically assured performance & set up a goal with a carefully weighted pass.
Harris - CB - moved into midfield as & when required as little to do at the back.
Atkinson - LB - played more like a winger as he pushed on at every opportunity.
Hoar - RM - Westend could not cope with his pace. Late in the game moved up front & got the goal his play deserved.
McNally - CM - great headed goal before having to go off with something in his eye. As ever won more than his fair share of headers when he came back on the second half Rivers - CM - usual display of graft & craft laying on a goals as well as scoring twice.
Ritchie - LM - terrorised the opposition defence, laid on goals & helped himself to a hat trick. The third a delightful long range chip.
Westcott - CF - man of the match for his five goal haul of clinical finishing. Taken off before he could hit a double hat trick.
Renwick - CF - a couple of goals, mazy running & three assists
Porter K - CM - a vey assured WBFC debut as he is showed a keen eye for a pass, got stuck in & weighed in with two assists.
Donegan - LB - came on at the back & then moved forward. Solid & dependable
Deacon - LB - cameo ten minutes at the end when the game was safe
